1. Promoter
The promoter is Cooktown Hardware, a division of Dahlsens Building Centres Pty Ltd ABN 30 005 032 333 (Promoter).
2. Acceptance of Terms
Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Employees, and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related entities are not eligible to enter. Suppliers and business affiliates of the Promoter and its related entities are not eligible to enter.
4. Promotion Period
The promotion commences at 6.30am AEST on 1 September 2026 and closes at 10.45am AEST on Saturday 10 October 2026 (Promotion Period). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
5. How to Enter
To enter, customers must spend $100 or more, including GST, in a single transaction (invoiced) at Cooktown Hardware during the Promotion Period and fully complete an official entry form. e.g. $100 = 1 ticket. $250 = 1 ticket. $2000 = 1 ticket. Only completed entry forms submitted during the Promotion Period will be eligible for the draw. Each qualifying transaction of $100 or more is entitled to one (1) entry form.
6. Invalid Entries
Incomplete, illegible, inaccurate or late entries may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.
7. Prize
The prize consists of one advertised boat package (Prize). The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for
cash.

8. Draw Details
The winner will be drawn at 11.00am AEST on Saturday 10 October 2026 at Cooktown Hardware.
9. Winner Must Be Present
The winner must be present at the time of the draw to claim the Prize. If a winning entry is drawn and the winner does not identify themselves within 90 seconds (1 minutes 30 seconds) of the winning entry being announced, a redraw will occur. This process will continue until a valid winner is identified.
10. Winner Identification
The name on the winning ticket must match the name on the provided valid government-issued photographic identification provided for the prize to be awarded. The winner must provide valid government-issued photographic identification before the Prize is awarded. Acceptable forms of identification include Australian Driver Licence, Australian or International Passport, and Queensland Proof of Age Card or equivalent Australian State or Territory proof of age card. Student identification cards, employee identification cards, workplace identification cards, membership cards and other non-government-issued identification will not be accepted.
11. Company, Business, Trust and Trade Accounts
If the qualifying purchase is made on a company, business, trust or trade account, the account holder will be deemed the entrant and winner of the Prize. The person named on the entry form will be considered the nominated representative of the account holder. If the nominated representative is not the owner, director, trustee or authorised representative of the account holder, the Promoter reserves the right to contact the account holder to verify authority and complete the Prize handover process. The Promoter may require written authorisation from the account holder before releasing the Prize. If the qualifying purchase was made from an account holder their account must be current and not in arrears for the Prize to be awarded.
12. Prize Handover and Responsibilities
The winner is responsible for all registration, insurance, licensing, transfer fees, taxes and ongoing costs associated with ownership and use of the Prize unless otherwise stated by the Promoter. The winner will be provided a $500 prepaid Visa or Mastercard as goodwill to offset the initial registration fees and taxes.
13. Verification and Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or engages in conduct that is fraudulent, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.
14. Final Decision
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion or acceptance and use of the Prize.
16. Changes to Promotion
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to any applicable laws.
17. Promotional Use
The Promoter reserves the right to use the winner’s name, suburb and photograph for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. By attending the prize draw event, entrants consent to photographs and/or video footage being taken and used by the Promoter for promotional purposes across print, digital and social media channels.
18. Privacy
By entering the promotion, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the promotion and contacting the winner.
