CAIRNS HARDWARE COOKTOWN PAINTING COMMUNITY GRANT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

APPLICATIONS

  1. Employees of the Promoter (Cairns Hardware Company ABN# 87 009 881 341) and related entities of the Promoter are ineligible for entries.
  2. Suppliers and business affiliates of the Promoter (Cairns Hardware Company ABN# 87 009 881 341) are ineligible for entries.
  3. The grant application period commences on 5 August 2019 at 6.00am AEST and closes on 30 August 2019 at 5.30pm AEST.
  4. Entries will be restricted to non-for-profit community groups.
  5. Entries will be restricted to those community groups with buildings in Cooktown or within an 80km radius.
  6. Applicants must email email/cborn)(cairnshardware.com.auwith the following information:
    1. Name of community group & where the building is located
    2. Square meterage of the outside of the building to be painted
    3. What the group does for the community
    4. In 25 words or less why their group would benefit from the grant

GRANT

  1. Information on the application for the grant form part of these Terms and Conditions. Applications not completed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions are ineligible. Applying for this grant constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The grant recipient will be chosen by the Cairns Hardware Community Chest Committee at a meeting to be held on 3 September 2019 at 10:30am AEST at Cairns Hardware Support Office, 154 Scott Street Cairns Qld 4870. The recipient will be announced at 10:30am AEDT on 7 September 2019 at Cooktown Hardware 48 Charlotte Street, Cooktown Qld 4895.
  3. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. To be eligible to receive the grant the community group must be non-for-profit and the building reside in Cooktown or within an 80km radius
  5. The grant recipient will make themselves available for promotional photos with all major Cairns Hardware business partners. The grant recipient must authorise the use of the photographs for publication in promotional material.
  6. Grant includes a qualified painter and paint to complete a re-paint of the outside of the recipient’s community building.
  7. The grand recipient must ensure space on a mutually agreeable spot on the building to display signage advertising Cooktown Hardware and Taubmans. Cooktown Hardware will supply the signage. Signage must be displayed for a minimum of 3 years.
  8. This grant is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  9. The Promoter will not be liable at common law, contract or negligence for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of this grant. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantable quality of any goods or services offered. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize and winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
